Lasagna
Ingredients:
– 2 kg(4.4 lb) of meat sauce – check my Ragù Bolognese recipe https://www.chefmamy.com/2023/02/25/ragu-bolognese
– Barilla pasta for lasagna or make pasta by hand
– 1000 g(£5.27 oz) of beschiamella – check my Bechamel recipe https://www.chefmamy.com/2023/02/24/besciamella/
– 400g(14.11 oz) parmesan
Preparation:
1) Turn on the oven at 220°C(428°F).
2) Use a 40x25cm(15.75×9.84 inches) baking tin. Start by placing a thin layer of ragù, then add the pasta Barilla in sheets. Cover the pasta sheets with ragù, then add the bechamel and finally the Parmesan. Add again these layers in this order: pasta, meat sauce, béchamel and parmesan.
3) Cover everything with tinfoil and let it cook at 200°C(392°F) for 35 minutes.
4) Remove the tinfoil and leave it in the oven for another 10 minutes.
Before serving, l suggest to let it cool down for 5 minutes, then cut the lasagne into squares with a rectangular spatula.
You can make portions and put them in the freezer to serve another time.
