Puree Liliana
Usually I like to make puree by myself. I know that it is simpler to buy the ready to cook powder, but I can guarantee you that the flavor is extremely more squisite.
Ingredients:
-1kg (2.2 lb) of potatoes
-200g (7.05 oz) of butter
-200ml milk
-150g (5.29 oz) of Parmesan
-Nutmeg, salt, ground pepper
Preparation:
1) In a large saucepan, put the water covering all the potatoes and 2 tablespoons of salt. Boil the potatoes for 40 minutes.
2) Drain the potatoes from the water and peel them, cut into small pieces and then mash with the back of a fork.
3) Put the mashed potatoes, the butter (at room temperature), the salt, the nutmeg and the Parmesan cheese into a bowl and mix everything together. Add the milk gradually to make the puree of the desired softness.
