On St. Martin’s Day, in Italy there is the usual custom of making chestnuts. I usually bake them…but this time…surprise!
You may be wondering why chestnuts are made in the air fryer? instead of in the oven or roasted chestnuts… well the answer is simple… it only takes 20 minutes to cook!
Ingredients:
-400g of chestnuts
Preparation:
1) First of all, make a cross-shaped incision on the chestnuts with a serrated knife (important).
2) Place the scored chestnuts in a bowl with warm water and leave them for a few minutes. The chestnuts that have the worm inside should come to fruition.
3) Place the chestnuts in the air fryer basket a little apart from each other.

4) At this point all that remains is to program the air fryer at 200°C(392°F) for 20 minutes. 5) Check the cooking status of the chestnuts every now and then.
