Today I made some very simple and good cannoli, to eat for breakfast or as a snack.
Ingredients:
-1 roll of rectangular puff pastry
-200g(7.05 oz) of ricotta
-3 tablespoons of sugar
-1 yolk
-2 tablespoons of chocolate chips
-vanilla icing sugar
-Lemon peel
Preparation:
1) Remove the puff pastry from the fridge at least 10 minutes beforehand.
2) Unroll the dough and divide it into 6 parts.
3) Cut half of each rectangle into thin strips.
4) In a small bowl, lemon peel, mix the ricotta and sugar. Add the egg yolk and chocolate chips. Mix everything well with a spoon.
5) Fill the uncut halves into strips with the ricotta mixture.

6) Roll up the cannoli starting from the side with the filling.
7) Brush the cannoli with milk and then sprinkle some sugar on top.
8) Bake at 200°C (392°F) for 20 minutes.
9) Once cooked, let them cool and sprinkle vanilla icing sugar on top.
