Super soft apple pie
What can I say, a huge success every time I make this cake, it doesn’t make it to the end of the day. For this apple pie, if you follow my preparation procedure you will surely get compliments.
Ingredients:
-5 apples
-140g(4.94 oz) of flour
-220g(7.76 oz) of sugar
-180g(6.34 oz) of butter at room temperature
-4 eggs
-1 lemon
-1 sachet of yeast
-2 sachets of vanilla for desserts
-vanilla icing sugar
Preparation:
1) Wash, remove the apple core and cut all the apples into thin slices.
2) Grate the lemon and place the apple slices on top, then cut the lemon in half and make the juice that you will add on top. Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and mix everything. Set aside.
3) Place the butter and sugar in a bowl and mix for 4 minutes or more, the sugar must melt in the butter (this operation is very important). Blend with a mixer.
4) Separate the yolks from the whites of the 4 eggs into 2 different bowls.
5) Wash the mixer whisks and dry them. First, whisk the egg whites well with a pinch of salt.
6) With the same whisks, blend the yolks with the sugar.
7) Add the flour, a sachet of yeast and the sachets of vanilla to the bowl with the apple slices. At the end add the yolks with the sugar and mix everything well.
8) Finally add the whipped egg white and mix very delicately. Everything will become very homogeneous and soft.
9) Take a springform cake tin, grease it with butter and then put a little flour and paste it all over the cake tin.
10) Place the dough in the cake tin. Level with a spoon.
11) Place the cake in the oven and cook it for 1 hour at 160° C(320° F).
12) When it is ready, take it out and let it cool.
13) Dust the cake with icing sugar, it becomes fantastic if you also add a little cinnamon powder and a little whipped cream next to it.
Fantastic to accompany with a fruit juice!
