Sausage with green cabbage
Sausage with pour is definitely a unique winter dish. Very easy to make, genuine and very tasty.
This recipe does not require many ingredients, 6 sausages, 2 onions, 1 cabbage, 1 glass with wine and tomato paste, salt, peppercorns and sage.
Let’s start by frying the onions in a deep pot. Cut the 6 sausages in half and remove the skin so they absorb the flavors of all the ingredients. When the onion has browned, add the pieces of sausage and cover with the lid. Turn and mix every now and then.
Now let’s prepare the cabbage by starting to eliminate all the external leaves then remove the core. Remember to turn the sausages.
Cut the green cabbage into strips and then into squares. Place it in a large bowl, add some salt and rub it, this way the cabbage softens. Add the cabbage to the pot with the sausage.
Cook everything over medium-low heat. When the cabbage has reduced in volume, add a few bay leaves and a few grains of pepper (there is no need for salt because it is there from when the cabbage was rubbed). Prepare a glass with white wine and put 2 tablespoons of tomato paste in it, mix and add it to the pot. Mix and cook over low heat with a lid.
Before serving, remove the bay leaves and peppercorns.
Buon Appetito!!
