Sausage with cabbage
Sausage with cabbage is very easy to make, it takes just a few ingredients and can be cooked in a short time. For this type of recipe you can use any type of sausage, pork, veal, turkey, chicken.
First of all, cut an onion and brown it, then take 6 pieces of sausage, remove the skin and cut it into small pieces. Place the sausage pieces on top of the browned onion and cook for a few minutes.
While the sausage is cooking (remember to turn it every now and then), start washing the cabbage, remove the hard middle and then cut it like an onion. Once everything has been chopped up, put it in a bowl and a spoonful of fine salt and rub the pieces together. You will see that the volume will decrease a lot and then put it in the pan with the sausage.
Cook with the lid on for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. In the pan place some bay leaves and peppercorns (do not salt), add a glass of wine and a spoonful of triple tomato concentrate and cook until the wine has evaporated. Serve hot. When you eat the cabbage you will realize that it tastes like sausage :-)… a simple way to get someone who doesn’t like it to eat vegetables!
